Call the Fashion Police!

A typical Dutch male colonist would have worn a shirt with full sleeves, a tunic over the shirt and a wide brimmed hat. This outfit was practical for everyday colonial life, but it was not very good for firefighting. The full sleeves caught on fire easily and the tunic and hat gave the firefighter little protection from the fire.
Reproduction Dutch clothing, similar to what would have been worn by the Dutch colonists.
